Setting Pace After a Huge 2019, Including Supporting Jay 1, Nafe Smallz & House of Pharaohs, Jay Rico Lights Up 2020 With ‘Papa Bless’ Ahead of His London Fashion Week Performance Debut
The 21-year-old, backed by industry heavyweights Serani and K Koke, looks set for a busy 2020. Kickstarting with the first in a trio of hard-hitting releases – the first being the hotly tipped Papa Bless, which received a wave of support following a live sneak peek clip from his recent shows with House of Pharaohs and Nafe Smallz reached the masses. Behind the bass-driven beat, Rico tells the story of his journey so far, the struggles along the way and his motivation to succeed in a competitive scene.
The latest track comes on the back of his quick rise throughout a busy 2019 where he has built a whopping profile supported by over ½ million YouTube views across videos such as ‘Make it’, ‘Jump On my Wave’ and ‘Don’t Like Photos’. His live shows have been unstoppable too, hitting the stage to support Jay 1, Nafe Smallz and House of Pharoah’s on their UK tours before wowing the crowds at London Fashion Week for the SUPA Party at Nobu Hotel on 16th February and Love Magazine’s Love Party at The Standard Hotel on 17th February.
Bringing a smooth mix of his Spanish roots, rap beats, soulful RnB and rhythmic dancehall, Jay Rico has got a little something for everyone in his artillery.
